Wedding at Langdale Chase
Throughout the UK there are many wedding venues to choose from when planning your big day, and one of them is Langdale in Windermere, for a wedding at Langdale Chase.
Nestled between the countryside and Lake Windermere you will find Langdale Chase Hotel, a large Victorian house with amazing grounds, as well as a boat house and two jetties; and we just love to shoot weddings there.
They are licensed for weddings both inside the beautiful house as well as the amazing grounds, weather permitting. One of the best things about a wedding in the grounds is the stunning backdrop of the mountains and lake. Depending on the time of year your wedding will be you may find the the mountain tops still have snow, which is always a big plus in our book. We have shot weddings there in late March and early April and there has still been some snow visible.
Tamara and Andrew’s wedding was beautiful from start to finish. Tamara, originally from Mexico, brought her family over for the occasion and the ceremony was held outdoors in the beautiful warm sunshine. We often think that the weather for a March wedding in the UK would be too cold, but more often than not, it’s much warmer and sunnier than we think.
A wedding at Langdale Chase also offers something a little different: A jetty. For boat trips and dancing!
You can choose to book a boat trip at a time of your choosing and it’s a great way to see some sights. Another of our couples, Emily and David, opted for an hour boat trip on the Queen of the Lake while their room and food was being prepared.
So, a wedding at Langdale Chase can be fun, peaceful, exciting, exhilarating and diverse.
In fact…it can be whatever you want it to be .
